Chronological Table (No. 3).

ACTS OF THE UNITED KINGDOM PARLIAMENT APPLYING IN OR AFFECTING THE BAHAMAS OTHERWISE THAN BY VIRTUE OF AN ENACTMENT OF THE LEGISLATURE OF THE BAHAMAS

Note: The reference to United Kingdom statutes in the left-hand column of this Table is to be understood as meaning the text of those Acts as in force on the first day of April 1965.

In the right-hand column there are comments indicating the scope of each Act and the manner in or extent (if any) to which it affects the laws or circumstances of The Bahamas. In cases where the United Kingdom Acts only become part of the law of The Bahamas when applied by Order of the Sovereign in Council, a reference to the relevant Order is given or where, as at 1 st April 1965, the Act had not been applied to the Bahama Islands an entry "Subject to Order in Council" appears in the right-hand column.

This Table is intended as a guide only; it is not authoritative and does not claim to be exhaustive or entirely up to date and accurate.
