YOUNG WOMEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION (NASSAU BRANCH) INCORPORATION

An Act to incorporate the trustees of the Young Women's Christian Association (Nassau Branch).

1. This Act may be cited as the Young Women's Christian Association (Nassau Branch) Incorporation Act.

Short title.

2. Frances Menesta Butler, Emerald Ernestine Nicolls, Evelyn Muriel Knowles, Freda Genevieve Roberts, Ulric Jason Mortimer, Leon Gilbert Dupuch and Sybil May Russell shall be deemed to be the present Trustees of the Young Women's Christian Association (Nassau Branch).

3. The Trustees of the Young Women's Christian Association (Nassau Branch) and their successors in office shall be deemed to be a body corporate and have the name of The Trustees of the Young Women's Christian Association (Nassau Branch) and by that name shall have perpetual succession and shall have full power to purchase, take, hold, enjoy, sell, grant, convey, mortgage, lease, invest and otherwise deal with and dispose of all property real and personal of what nature or kind soever vested in or acquired by the said body corporate and may sue or be sued in all courts of The Bahamas.

4. All property in The Bahamas real or personal of what nature or kind soever which is now vested in or held in any manner by any person in trust for or for the use and benefit of the Young Women's Christian Association (Nassau Branch) shall vest in and be held by the said body corporate.

5. All property real or personal of what nature or kind soever heretofore or hereafter devised or bequeathed by will or otherwise given to the Young Women's Christian Association (Nassau Branch) shall vest in and be held by and shall be deemed to be the property of the said body corporate.

6. All property real or personal of what nature or kind soever vested in or acquired by the said body corporate under this Act shall be held by the said body corporate for the use and benefit of the Young Women's Christian Association (Nassau Branch).

7. Nothing in this Act shall prejudice or affect the rights of His Majesty the King, His Heirs and Successors or of any other person or persons except such as are mentioned in this Act and those claiming by, from, through or under them.
