An Act to
validate certain conveyances of land situate in the Island of New Providence
made on behalf of The Bahamas Fibre and Produce Company, Limited. | 29 of 1959 |

1. This Act
may be cited as The Bahamas Fibre and Produce Company, Limited, Validation of
Conveyances Act. | Short title. |
2. The
several indentures of conveyances (hereinafter referred to as "the said
indentures") brief particulars of which are set out in the Schedule hereto
are hereby made effective for all purposes and they shall be deemed to have
conveyed to the purchasers in the said indentures respectively named all the
estate, right title, interest, claim and demand of The Bahamas Fibre and
Produce Company, Limited (a Company incorporated under the laws of the Bahama
Islands which was removed by the Registrar General from the Register of
Companies under the Removal of Defunct Companies Act on the 14th day of June, 1926)
of and in the hereditaments described in and purported to be conveyed by the
said indentures respectively. | Validation of certain
Conveyances. |
3. So far
as this Act relates to each of the said indentures it shall be deemed to have
come into operation on the date of each such indenture. | Commencement. |
