confirm the lease from the crown to the Emerald Beach Bathing Club, limited, dated
the 27th day of April, 1955 of certain hereditaments situate in the Western
District of the Island of New Providence. | 25 of 1955 |

1. This Act
may be cited as the Emerald Beach Bathing Club, Limited (Confirmation of Lease)
Act. | Short title. |
2. The
Lease from the Crown to The Emerald Beach Bathing Club, Limited, of the
hereditaments described in the Schedule to this Act, and held by the Crown for
the use of the Colony, executed on the 27th day of April, 1955, by His
Excellency the Governor on behalf of the Crown at the request of the Government
is hereby approved, ratified and confirmed in all respects. | Confirmation of Lease. |
SCHEDULE |
ALL
that piece parcel or part of a tract of land situate in the Western District of
the Island of New Providence North of the road known as West Bay Street being a
portion of the property known as "Hobby Horse Hall" having such
position boundaries shape marks and dimensions as are shown on the diagram or
plan attached to an Indenture dated the Tenth day of March A.D., 1954 and made
between the Honourable Colonial Secretary acting for and on behalf of the
Government of the Bahama Islands of the one part and The Emerald Beach Bathing
Club, Limited, of the other part now of record in the Registry of Records in
the City of Nassau in Book Y 20 at pages 360 to 366 and being delineated on
that part which is coloured pink of the said diagram or plan. |
