CHARLES FRANCIS CHRISTIE REAL ESTATE

An Act vesting certain real estate in Charles Francis Christie.

[Commencement 8th August, 1931]

WHEREAS a certain lot of land situate in the Eastern District of New Providence and hereinafter particularly described is in accordance with the provisions of section eight of the Removal of Defunct Companies Act now vested in the Treasurer subject to the disposition of the Legislature:

AND WHEREAS It is desirable that the said lot of land should vest in the said Charles Francis Christie the heir-at-law and personal representative of the late George Francis Christie.

1. This Act may be cited as the Charles Francis Christie Real Estate Act.

Short title.

2. From and after the coming into operation of this Act the land referred to and described in the Schedule to this Act shall be and the same is hereby vested in the said Charles Francis Christie, the heir-at-law and personal representative of the said late George Francis Christie, in fee simple.

Certain real estate to vest in Charles Francis Christie.

SCHEDULE (Section 2)

ALL that lot of land situate in the Eastern District of the said Island of New Providence and bounded northwardly by the grounds of the Bahamas General Hospital [i]* and running thereon one hundred and sixty-five (165) feet and six (6) inches on the west partly by land said to be the property of the Bahamas General Hospital [ii]* and partly by land the property of Thomas Lynch and running on the said two properties one hundred and ninety-nine (199) feet and six (6) inches on the south by land the property of the Estate of the said late George Francis Christie and running thereon one hundred and forty-seven (147) feet and eight (8) inches and on the east by land the property of Harold E. M. Johnson and running thereon one hundred and forty-eight (148) feet and six (6) inches which said lot of land has such position, boundaries, marks and dimensions as are represented by and set out in and on that part which is coloured pink of the plan attached to an indenture dated the 26th day of May A.D., 1922 and now of record in the Registry of Records in book S. 11 at pages 517 to 518.
