CROWN RECLAMATION |
An Act to
enable the Crown to reclaim a certain portion of the Harbour of Nassau. | 1 of 1936 |

June, 1936] |
1. This Act
may be cited as the Crown Reclamation Act. | Short title. |
2. It shall
be lawful for the Crown to reclaim and fill in within the period of five years
all that portion of the Harbour of Nassau bounded as follows: | Enables reclamation of
portion of the Harbour of Nassau. |
On the north by a
line drawn between the north-western point of the Armstrong Street Fire Wharf (or
Abutment) and up to a point fifty feet from the north-eastern point of the
property owned by George Murphy, Esquire (formerly called "Harry Smith's
Wharf"); |
On the south by
the wall adjoining Bay Street; |
On the east by the
western side of the Armstrong Street Fire Wharf aforesaid; |
On the west by the
eastern side of the wharves and abutments constituting the eastern water front
of the property belonging to George Murphy, Esquire, as aforementioned. |
3. On the
completion of the reclamation and filling in as provided by section 2 of this
Act all that portion of the Harbour of Nassau so filled in and reclaimed shall
be and continue to be subject to the rights of the King, his heirs and
successors. | Reclaimed land subject to
