HENRIETTA INEZ WOOD ABUTMENT

An Act to authorise Henrietta Inez Wood her heirs or assigns to extend her freehold property situate on the north side of East Bay Street into the Harbour of Nassau.

[Commencement 1st November, 1933]

1. This Act may be cited as the Henrietta Inez Wood Abutment Act.

Short title.

2. It shall be lawful for Henrietta Inez Wood her heirs or assigns within the period of ten years to extend into the Harbour of Nassau on the north-west portion of her freehold property situate on the north side of East Bay Street in the Eastern District of New Providence:

Authorises extension of freehold property into Nassau Harbour.

Provided that a plan of any proposed extension shall have been first submitted to and approved by the Board of Pilotage for New Providence.

3. On the completion of the said extension in accordance with the plan so submitted and approved the said extension shall vest in the said Henrietta Inez Wood in fee simple:

Extension when completed to vest in Henrietta Inez Wood.

Provided that such vesting shall be subject to the rights of the King his heirs and successors and of all bodies politic and corporate and of all other persons except the person mentioned in this Act and those claiming by, from and under her.
