LAND EXCHANGE HOPE TOWN

An act to authorise the public board of works for Hope Town, Elbow Cay, Abaco, to exchange certain land at Hope Town for certain other land at Hope Town.

[Commencement 27th February, 1939]

1. This Act may be cited as the Land Exchange Hope Town Act.

Short title.

2. (1) It shall be lawful for the Public Board of Works for Hope Town, Elbow Cay, Abaco, to exchange the land described in the First Schedule in this Act of certain other land in that district owned by Charles Summer Dolley described in the Second Schedule in this Act.

Authorizes Hope Town Board of works to exchange certain land.

(2) To effect such exchange it shall be lawful for the said Board to convey the land described in the said First Schedule to the said Charles Summer Dolley in fee simple upon the said Charles Summer Dolley conveying to the said Board in fee simple the land described in the said Second Schedule.

SCHEDULES

FIRST SCHEDULE (Section 2)

ALL that piece parcel or lot of land situate on the Settlement of Hope Town in the Island of Elbow Cay which said piece parcel or lot of land is bounded on the north by land the property of Hutchins Malone and running thereon one hundred and fifteen (115) feet, on the east by a public road and running thereon forty-nine (49) feet, on the south by land the property of the said Charles Sumner Dolley and running thereon one hundred and twenty-three (123) feet, and on the west by a public road and running thereon fifty (50) feet.

SECOND SCHEDULE

ALL that piece or lot of land situate at the Settlement of Hope Town in the Island of Elbow Cay which said piece parcel or lot of land is bounded on the north by land the property of Harold Albury and running thereon forty-nine (49) feet, on the east by a public road and running thereon fifty-two (52) feet, on the south by the property known as "Jarrett's Park" and running thereon sixty-four (64) feet, and on the west by the sea and running thereon fifty-one (51) feet AND

ALSO ALL that piece parcel or lot of land situate as aforesaid and bounded on the north by land the property of the said Harold Albury and running thereon sixty (60) feet, on the east by a public road and running thereon thirty-nine (39) feet, on the south by land the property of Beaumann Roberts and running thereon fifty-four (54) feet, and on the west by a public road and running thereon thirty-seven (37) feet.
