PUBLIC DISCLOSURE

PUBLIC DISCLOSURE ACT (APPLICATION TO PUBLIC APPOINTEES AND PUBLIC OFFICERS) NOTICE

S.I. 20/1980

(SECTION 9(1))

[Commencement 3rd April, 1980]

1. This Notice may be cited as the Public Disclosure Act (Application to Public Appointees and Public Officers) Notice.

Citation.

2. Subject to the provisions of section 9 of the Public Disclosure Act, the said Act shall apply to any-

Application of Act to public servants.

(a)
public appointee or class of public appointee;
(b)
public officer or class of public officer, specified in the Schedule.

SCHEDULE (Paragraph 2)

(i)
Secretary to the Cabinet;
(ii)
Financial Secretary;
(iii)
Chairman of the Public Service Commission;
(iv)
Permanent Secretary;
(v)
Director of Legal Affairs;
(vi)
Auditor-General;
(vii)
Director of Public Personnel;
(viii)
Commissioner of Police;
(ix)
Secretary of Revenue;
(x)
Deputy Permanent Secretary;
(xi)
Deputy Financial Secretary;
(xii)
Deputy Auditor-General;
(xiii)
Deputy Commissioner of Police;
(xiv)
Deputy Director of Public Personnel;
(xv)
Head of Department;
(xvi)
Deputy Head of Department;
(xvii)
General Manager (by whatever name called) of any Corporation established by Act of Parliament for Public purposes;
(xviii)
Deputy General Manager (by whatever name called) of any Corporation established by Act of Parliament for public purposes;
(xix)
Governor of the Central Bank of The Bahamas;
(xx)
Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of The Bahamas.
