[Commencement 10th August, 1929] |
1. This Act may be cited as the Police Force (Military

2. Whenever the Governor-General considers that The
Bahamas is in imminent danger of invasion or that any other sufficient

remain so subject and liable until the Governor-General shall, by Order,
otherwise order. | Power to make the Police Force liable to military

the property or the person concerned shall receive such remuneration as may be
approved by the Governor-General. |
6. When an Order has been issued under section 2 of
this Act it shall be lawful for the Governor-General to have enrolled in the
force during the continuance of such Order a greater number of officers and men
than are ordinarily provided for by law and such additional members of the
force so enrolled shall in all respects and for all purposes be considered as
members of the force and be subjected to all such laws as are members of the
force. | Increasing strength of Force. |
