CONSERVATION) (DECLARATION OF PROTECTED
AREA) |
ORDER, 2005 |
The Minister, in exercise of the
powers conferred by Section 13 of the Fisheries Resources (Jurisdiction And
Conservation) Act, makes the following Order - |
1. This Order may be cited as
the Fisheries Resources (Jurisdiction and Conservation) (Declaration of
Protected Area) Order, 2005( | Citation. |
2. The Cay, known as High Cay
and surrounding waters, that are located to the south of Andros Town and to the
north of Bowens Sound, Central Andros, and on the western side of the Tongue of
the Ocean and are enclosed in the north by latitude 24°40' N, to the east by
longitude 77°40.8' W, to the south by latitude 24°37.8' N and to the west by
longitude 77°44' W are hereby' declared to be a protected area. | Declaration of Protected Area. |
3. The Cay known as High Cay and
its surrounding waters declared to be protected is closed to all fishing
activities from 21st November, 2004 to 31st March, 2005. | Dates of closure to fishing
activities. |
