THE MARRIAGE ACT |
(CHAPTER 120) |
THE MARRIAGE (AMENDMENT) RULES,
2003 |
The Minister in exercise of the
powers conferred by section 51 of the Marriage Act hereby makes the following
rules - |
1. These Rules may be cited as
the Marriage (Amendment) Rules, 2003. | Citation. |
2. Section 27 of the Marriage
Rules in the category “Registrar General” is amended as follows - | Amendment of section 27 of Ch.
120-3. |
(a) by the deletion of the words
“$10.00” corresponding to the item “For every certified copy of an entry” and
the substitution therefor of the words “$20.00”; |
(b) by the deletion of the words
“$40.00” corresponding to the item “For issue of a marriage licence by the
Registrar General” and the substitution therefor of the words “$100.00”;
and |
(c) by the insertion immediately
after the last item of the following new item - |
“For every interview conducted by the Registrar
General for the purposes of this Act
................................................................ $100.00”. |
