RULES FOR FRAMING CHARGES AND INFORMATIONS |
(AMENDMENT) RULES, 2002 |
The Rules Committee in exercise
of the powers conferred by section 74 of the Criminal Procedure Code Act makes
the following rules - |
1. (1.) These Rules which amend the
Rules for Framing Charges and Informations may be cited as the Rules for
Framing Charges and Informations (Amendment) Rules, 2002. | Citation and commencement. Ch. 84. Second Schedule. |
(2) These Rules shall come into
force on the 1st day of January, 2003. |
2. Paragraph (2) of rule 1 of
the principal Rules is revoked and replaced by the following - | Admendment of rule 1 of the
principal Rules. |
“(2) Each sheet on which an information is set out
shall be 11 inches long by 8½ inches wide or A4 International Standards
Organisation.”. |
3. Notwithstanding the
revocation of paragraph (2) of rule 1 of the principal Rules, the said
paragraph shall continue to have full force and effect until the 31st
day of December, 2003. | Transitional. |
