What is a "List of Acts or Subsidiary Legislation by Year?"

A list of Acts or Statutory Instruments can be found under the LEGISLATION menu, and will allow users to view any amending or new legislation passed since the last consolidation of the laws.

How do I find if there is an amendment to an Act or a Statutory Instrument?

All amending legislation in force as at 31st December, 2009 is incorporated in the principal Act or Subsidiary Legislation, and will contain a reference to the amending Act in the marginal note to the section that was amended. Any amending legislation, if any, after that date can be located by examining the lists of Acts for each year.

When will the laws be next consolidated ?

There is no fixed date for the next consolidation. However, it is our goal to update the loose leaf volumes and the CD-ROM versions every two years.
