AN ACT TO AMEND THE SUPREME COURT
ACT |

Enacted by the Parliament of The Bahamas. |
1. This Act which amends the
Supreme Court Act may be cited as the Supreme Court (Amendment) Act, 2006. | Short title. Ch. 53. |
2. Section 3 of the principal
Act is amended - | Amendment of section 3 of Ch. 53. |
(a) by the deletion of subsection
(3); and |
(b) by the renumbering of subsection
(4) as subsection (3). |
3. Subsection (1) of the section
74 of the Supreme Court Act is amended by the deletion of the words
“surrounding a royal crown” and the substitution of the words “surrounding the
coat-of- arms of The Bahamas”. | Amendment of section 74 of Ch. 53. |
