AN ACT TO AMEND |
THE BUSINESS LICENCE ACT |

Enacted by the Parliament of The
Bahamas. |
1. This Act may be cited as the
Business Licence (Amendment) Act, 2003. | Short title. |
2. Section 3 of this Act as it
relates to non-life assurances policies shall take effect on the 1st
day of October, 2003, and with respect to life assurance policies shall take
effect on the 1st day of January, 2004. | Commencement of section 3. |
3. Subsection (2) of section 8
of the Business Licence Act is amended by the deletion of the words “a fee of
two per cent” and the substitution therefor of the words “a fee of three per
