1. This Act may be cited as the
Appropriation (Capital Development) (2006/2007) Act, 2006. | Short title. |
2. In this Act,
"development expenditure" means expenditure for capital development
within The Bahamas. | Interpretation. |
3.(1) There may be paid out of the
Treasury upon the authority of a warrant under the hand of the Minister of
Finance during the financial year beginning on the 1st day of July,
2006 and ending on the 30th day of June, 2007, the several sums of
money in respect of development expenditure set forth in the Schedule. | Authority for payment. Schedule. |
(2) In the financial year referred
to in subsection (1), not more than one hundred and ninety-five million, five
hundred and sixty-one thousand, eight hundred and seventy-three dollars may be
paid in total under the provisions of this section. |
